WHAT DOES THE "ST" STAND FOR"

He had stolen some sheep.

In the days in which the theft occurred and in the place where he lived, it was the custom and the law to brand the letter ST on his forehead,  He could have left the community, he could have worn his hair long over his forehead in yet another place, but this was home and he had no desire to leave, so he stayed.

He decided to live down this evil thing he had done. So year after year after year, he conducted himself with dignity with Christian love, with faith, tenderness, courage and love, all these virtues which so few men practice with any repetition.

And as will happen with the passage of time,he became a very old man.

One day a stranger walking through town noticed the ST branded on his forehead and asked somewhat what it meant.

"I am not sure," came back the reply, "but I think it stands for saint."If some initials were branded on your forehead what would they be and what would they stand for?
