The late Harry Emerson Fosdick was one of America’s premier preachers. He primed the thinking of thousands with thoughts such as the following, “Life is not so much like a structure as like a river…it continuously flows, and to be a person is to be engaged in a perpetual process of becoming.”

And I got to thinking…that is where so many problems begin with so many people…they become stagnant pools with no inlet or outlet…no flowing…no movement.

“Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and all thy mind…” THIS IS AN INLET.

“Love thy neighbor as thyself…” THIS IS AN OUTLET.
