                     +++++++++++

          A child, asked how he happened to think of something, said, "I got a kick in the mind and it said itself."—

          Your thoughts are the greatest friend you will ever know or the worst enemy you will ever have to endure.

          They can give light to darkness or make the brightest day a shadow, your thoughts about people and God, your thoughts about yourself.

          So treat not lightly the workings of your mind or treat them with lack of care.

          Fill your mind with God and goodness, faith and hope, charity and laughter.

          Seek to find good in everything you can and patience with those areas where if good is not dead it is certainly a grey and lifeless thing.

          You cannot have hateful thoughts and lead a lovely life.,  You cannot have doubting thoughts and reap the harvest of faith.

          So remember, your thoughts can lead you to heaven or drive you to hell-it’s up to you.

"THE SPIRITUAL ABRAHAM LINCOLN is an extremely well written book...it is both scholarly and very readable.  I came away impressed at Mr. Wyrick's portrayal of that President with an altered and enlarged vision of the man.
