To have developed a deep affection for another human being and have that bond broken is to create the emotional chains of chaos.

There is nothing to match the terrible grief of watching a father or mother die, burying a lifetime at the funeral of a wife or husband, suffering through the bitterness of divorce, receiving indifference from one who

was once a friend, aching from the anger of someone who will not forget or forgive.

All these are deaths for they shatter the present and the future.  They leave an abyss.

It is then some take up residence in a haunted house where an inner echo keeps crying out, "Why? Why? Why?"

Don’t!  Stand as spiritually tall as you can on your knees.

Search out someone who will let you talk and give you the gift of their listening, because grief without some verbalization, will settle in the heart and become an emotional gangrene.

In short, if you cannot escape the haunted house, open up its windows to let as much life come welling in as your soul will allow.
