Winston Churchill once ran into a long winded, ill tempered member of Parliament who took him to task with a particularly nasty tirade.
When
the gentleman had finished, Sir Winston rose to his feet and entoned,
"I do hope my honorable colleague will one day train himself not to
generate more indignation than he has the capacity to hold."

And
then….there is the business of remembering and forgetting and trying to
get the on and off switch stuck on “on” rather than “off.”
I wasn't seventy.
I wasn't even close.
I
had hardly turned thirty and I forgot one of my best friends name in a
botched introduction. I wasn't happy but I certainly didn't think
alzheimers disease or dementia.
So, next
time you forget a name or misplace your glasses or can't find a pen you
were just using, remember absent mindedness is a sign of genius. Well,
that may be a stretch, but neither is it a sign of being over the hill
and under the bridge.
In short, don't obsess about having a bad memory or any other physical or mental shortcoming.
Do an alphabet search when you can not remember a name.
The first letter will often trigger a positive response.
….
OR…Put THOSE pills you have to take by your favorite snack so you have to stumble over them on the way to your goodie.
Put
a pad by your bed and use it for notes to yourself (something I've been
doing for almost fifty years). But having done all at present you know
how to do, get on with life and living.
And…
Yes, there are those who cannot afford to take medicines they need.
But yes, also, there are those who take so many medicines their bodies become confused.
You have certainly heard of comparison shopping.
Do you comparison shop in a never ending discussion of your health?
When it comes to living are you obsessed with dying?
Thinking too often about the age of your parents or grandparents when they died?
Wouldn't thinking of life and its opportunities be better than concentrating on tombstones?
That was an interesting journey…at least for me. And hopefully it stirred some wandering thoughts for you as well.

A quote below from ONE A DAY blog entitled BE A NICE PERSON? DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!
A
few years ago at the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all
physically or mentally disabled, gathered at the starting line for the
100 yard dash.
When
the starting gun filled the stadium with its blast, they all began to
move forward, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race
to the finish and win.
All, that is, except one boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times and began to cry.
The other eight heard the boy.
They slowed down and looked back.
Then they all turned around and
