There is a church in England renown for its beautiful stain glass windows and that is an unusual reputation it has garnered because you see …it is not a stained glass window at all.
It looks like it at first glance and at a distance that the design and colors are magnificent.
But then when you get up close…you see that these magnificent masterpieces are made up of countless little pieces of broken glass.
Pieces of obscure bottles and a host of other broken objects.

And some saw
shattered pieces of glass as worthless and threw

And
the lesson for you and me is obvious…make the best of the
worst.
Which reminds me of yet another story…of a man who took tragedy and turned it into a full and rewarding life.
And who was that man? Henry Fawcett.

He
became Post Master General of the whole of England and took this position to a
new level.
He introduced such things as parcel post, postal savings and postal money orders.
He introduced such things as parcel post, postal savings and postal money orders.
And what is really interesting is the fact that he was totally blind.
