He had a new college degree and he was proud of it.
And that not that bad for there is a lot of work that goes into such an achievement.
The problem was that he was too proud of it…overly proud to be exact.
So one day after he had heard the great evangelist Dwight L. Moody speak he went up to this man who had used his skill with words to brings thousands to the Lord and he said to him, “Sir, I detected 13 grammatical errors in your sermon this morning.
Dwight L. Moody just looked at the young man and patiently smiled as he said, “Son, I’m using all of the grammar I’ve got to the glory of God. What about you?”
How does that old saying go? “No one ever choked to death swallowing their own pride.”
