WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Below is YOUR ONE A DAY (Note from Neil) & "A ONE LINER FOR YOUR SOUL"

Take these two seeds of thought below and turn it into a wisdom tree.

We are forgiven without deserving it.  Forgiven despite our propensity to constantly grow a list of more to be forgiven for.  And as prodigal children, having stumbled down a thousand wayward roads, we are welcomed back home again and again and again

Martin Luther spelled out why he had his act together as one day he wrote, “My conscience is captive to the word of God.”

What’s the difference?

Well, there was a great difference in a man named Kagawa who many years ago worked in the slums of Japan and was called “Christ’s fool.”

There was a John Bunyan, God-filled / God-seeking, writing Pilgrim’s Progress in a filthy jail. Turning that place of despair into a sanctuary.

Edgar DeWitt Jones put it this way. “As a Christian it is not our job to whittle sticks but rather to build temples.”

What’s so great about this faith we have embraced? Well, materialism can put a new coat on a man, but Christ can put a new man in a coat.

“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!" (Psalm 139:17-18b)
