The little lad was dancing all about in the chambers of the medieval king.
And one of the new armored soldiers set each day to guard the King cried out to him, “Have you no respect. Don’t you know that the man on that throne is your King?”
And the little boy cried back in reply, “He is your King…but he is my father.”

And God from His heaven throne sent down his son Jesus to earth to show us how much he loved us; warts and all.
“I am come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly.” And with these words and others like them he has spoken to the generations.
And we come to Him, our heavenly King, and we pray “Thy will be done.” And we pray and work toward having the power of the Holy Spirit help us show our thanksgiving.

And we succeed and we fail and from the cross we hear the words, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
And we remember and glory in those Bible words “I can do everything through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NIV)

If we take His words to heart does it mean we will become perfect?
No.
Will we become better.
Yes.
When the spirit of God dwells inside, miracles began to take place.
Praise God, He is a celestial chef who offers an unbelievable feast of forgiveness. And miracles in human lives are not that unusual...they happen all the time.
When we accept the Lord we are offered then a spot near the throne of grace and given a heavenly menu beyond compare. You put in your order by affirming your faith, so now enjoy a forgiven life…that’s another way of putting it.

Serialization of another book SIXTY PLUS AND NOT HOLDING
This book, SIXTY PLUS AND NOT HOLDING, is about dealing positively with the challenges of getting older and fosters the belief that “If we would have new knowledge, we must get a world of new questions.” (Susanne K. Langer)

“I am come that they (you) may have life and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
Anyone who lives long enough gets older. There are no other options. How we handle the adventure is filled with options.
Keep both eyes on life, and not on the calendar. Admit your age, but don’t admit to the fallacy that you have to act like it. Saying, “I’m 39 and holding,” is more tragic than humorous because it argues that age has no attributes.

V. Neil Wyrick
Below a quote from it…
“Be like the farmer who, when asked what he was building, replied, “if I can rent it, it’s a rustic cottage. If I can’t, it’s a cow shed.”
It’s called attitude and it can make us prematurely old or longer young. For truly, things aren’t just what they are, but rather how we choose to see them.”

“The
Lord’s story had a bad beginning, Jesus defeated….. but when the fog of
fear lifted and the message was gloriously completed, it read….. Jesus
defeated the enemy, death.”
