David Hume, the Scottish philosopher and skeptic, used to visit Haddington Parish Church every year when he was on vacation. On
one such occasion a friend remarked, “Being the skeptic that you are
David, you of course don’t believe all that stuff that old preacher was
saying do you?”
“Perhaps not,” replied Hume.
“Then why do you go?” the man added.
“Because he believes it,” answered Hume.
Have you ever stopped to think what Palm Sunday really shouts?
It shouts that Jesus cared about people more than power; that His journey along the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha and the cross was more about servant-hood than suffering.
Jesus had been offered an earthly crown and He was interested only in a crown of thorns and what a Crucifixion would do.
Think back on his message, “Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you peace.”
His message during His entire ministry was heaven laden - with love, with compassion, with concern.
Scriptures taken from "The Book" ("The Living Bible")
“This was no mere mortal. This was immortality moving on sandled feet.”
What is wonderful about faith is that it feeds at dawn and it feeds in the dark.

John 14:27
I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.

A quote below from ONE A DAY blog entitled DO YOU BELIEVE IN EASTER? (A light in the window just for you.)
“In
my father’s house are many mansions” says your Christ and mine and may I
add how good it is to know that in the window of one of those mansions
is a light on inside just for you.
