Palm Sunday and crucifixion-time are intertwined.  It is why it is a tradition to take palm fronds and form a cross.  You see; if Jesus had only headed up an earthly parade it would all have been for nothing.

Parades come to an end.al that proclaiming love can get a person in trouble, but it happens all the time.

People feel guilty when they hear too much talk about love because so many find it too hard to do.

It is easier to condemn and find fault.

Bureaucrats do that – they are in love with rules, legal eagles to the nth degree, but not in love with love.  The Pharisees and Sadducees, oh, they were spiritual bureaucrats all the way.

Jesus had this total picture firmly implanted in His mind.  So in broad daylight He rode toward His doom.

Luke 19:35-38 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
