How did the Romans capture Britain many years ago?

They burned their boats behind them.

The fierce Roman Eagle had hung over many people and now the little island of Britain was their goal.

And how did they do it.

Well…once their soldiers had left their ships and they stood on the English shores they destroyed their only avenue of escape.

They turned their mighty fleet into an inferno of destruction.

There was now only one direction to go…forward to victory.

So without reservations…they committed their very lives to defeating any idea of defeat…and they won.

So it is with you and me and our devotion to our Lord.

Destroy all avenues named excuse and without reservations give our all.
Ask ourselves the question, “Why am I alive?”

And answer, “I am alive to keep life going. To fulfill and sustain the will of God which put all there is in motion.

I am alive because one day in a timeless yesterday God Almighty said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

And only through this God can I truly learn how to live.”
