Take this seed of a thought below
and turn it into a wisdom tree.
A GRATITUDE ATTITUDE
One of the greatest joys in life is being
able to say "Thank You" AND REALLY MEAN IT.
BELOW is YOUR NEW "ONE A DAY YOUR
SPIRITUAL VITAMIN" for this Friday.
It’s question time again.
Is there a difference between an electric chandelier hanging from a ceiling and a dazzling, molten sunset announcing that night is near?
Is there a difference between a drunken man staggering out of a bar and a man kneeling at an altar before his Almighty God?
Is there is a difference between believing that Jesus was just a better than average teacher and philosopher and believing that He was, and is, the Son of God?
Our credit cards can give some insights into what we count as important. American Express makes a big thing of it, basically advertising how they will help you keep track of where your money is going. They don’t necessarily quote Isaiah 55:2 in their ads, but even they know how important it is for us to keep track of our spending habits.
Maxwell Anderson, in his book “Key Largo” has one of his characters cry out, “I have to believe there’s something in the world that isn’t evil…I have to believe there’s someone in the world that would rather die than accept injustice…something positive for good, that can’t be killed, or I’ll die inside.”
Beauty, faith, hope, charity, love: not just their existence, but our ability to recognize them and understand how much we need them.
How we die inside if we do not feed the natural hungering in our souls for Almighty God and His commandments for better being.
Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
