It was a normal day but then again it wasn’t.

A man drove his car into the church parking lot, parked it and as he was getting out a man quite distressed said to him, “You just parked in my place.” The man was somewhat distressed by such rude behavior but he moved his car without a word.

A man asked where Sunday School was being taught and finding the room sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and said, “That’s my seat.” The man was somewhat distressed by such rude behavior but he moved without a word.

Later the man walked in from the back of the church, found an empty seat, sat down and began to prepare for worship. A church member walked up and with a frown on her face said, “That’s where I always sit.” The man was somewhat distressed by such rude behavior but he moved without a word.

Later, as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood and his appearance began to change. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and sandaled feet.

Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, “What happened to you?”

The visitor replied, “I took your place.”
